Take a walk without tracking your daily steps
As the days start to become shorter and temperatures begin to drop, that magical time just before Autumn arrives when it’s cooler earlier and later in the day is the perfect time to take a walk. Walking in nature is a low-cost, eco-friendly activity that has numerous benefits for our health. Walking is essential for maintaining and improving both physical wellbeing and mental health.
Try not to obsess about how many steps to take and don’t always track them with tech. Recent research published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that taking fewer steps at a faster pace or more steps at a slower pace were both associated with a lower risk of premature death.
