Myofascia is a fibrous web of tissue that wraps and connects muscles, joints and nerves in the body, the Myofascia web is interconnected along the whole of the body, a little like cling film. A connective tissue holding everything together, flexible and supple it is interwoven which means that tension or stiffness in one part of the body can affect another part of the body that seems unconnected.

Myofascia that becomes tight or restricted due to overuse, inactivity, lack of sleep, dehydration or even bad posture can result in pain known as trigger points.
